CENTRAL ADVANCED DIGITECH
Central Advanced Digitech was founded in June 2003 with the aim of becoming the leading provider of consumer electronics and home appliances in Sudan. It also set out to offer the best after sales service in the country. This was all in response to the economic developments in Sudan and the increasing demand for premium products and quality after sales services.
Digitech operations started with the exclusive distribution of LG Electronics in Sudan and quickly began to expand its product portfolio to include Italian Gas Cookers and Chest Freezers through its agency agreement with Ocean. Digitech also signed an agreement with France’s Groupe SEB, the world’s largest manufacturer of Small Domestic Appliances, to be the exclusive distributor of Tefal, Moulinex and Rowenta. More recently, Digitech added KDK to its portfolio taking one step further into the ventilation appliances market.
Furthermore, Digitech’s aspiration to better serve the local market led to the development of its own private brand ‘DIGI’ which includes Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Cookers, Ovens, Water Dispensers, Desert Coolers and Fans.
Despite its short history, Digitech has grown into the largest retailer of consumer electronics, setting the benchmark in after sales service by establishing Digitech Service Centre, a state of the art service facility housing over 120 employees, dedicated to serving our customers’ needs. Digitech’s service network has since grown to include service centers in Port Sudan, Medani, Al Gadarif, Atbara, Kosti, Al Obeid and Dongola.
Digitech has also revolutionized the retail shopping concept in Sudan by building a network of premium retail outlets and brandshops covering Greater Khartoum and extending upcountry to Port Sudan, Dongola, Medani, Al Obeid and Al Gadarif. In addition, Digitech built up an extensive network of over 70 exclusive dealers covering all regions of Sudan.
